This flour mix can be used in place of flour in most recipes. When trying to modify regular recipes add 1 t xanthan gum for each cup of flour. I have had success with my recipes doing this.
Gluten Free Flour All Purpose - Small Batch
2 Cups Brown Rice Flour
2 Cups White Rice Flour
1/2 Cup Potato Starch Flour
2/3 Cup Tapioca Starch Flour
I mix and sift the ingredients together 3 times. The Jams, Dressing, Sauces, etc has instructions to make approx 5lbs
I think I got the proportions for this flour blend from Living Without when we started the diet, unfortunately it looks like the magazine is no longer available

Over the years I have gotten recipes from family, friends, the library and from the hundred plus cook books I own. Some recipes I make as is, most recipes I use as a starting point and change often radically. Provided the recipe is unchanged and I can track down the author I am seeking permision to post their recipes. If the recipe has modifications and I know where the orignial came from I will note the recipe that inspired me and its source. I did look up copyright issues and Recipe ingredient lists are not copyrightable this does not mean you should just give away other peoples creations without permision, but it does mean you can share recipes when you have no idea where they came from and family favorites etc without worrying about violating copyright. Rules for copyright of recipes U.S. Copyright Office
Here is an editorial by Pamela White I found at on the subject of recipes and copyright law.
If you have any recipes you would like to share please contact me If it is from a cookbook please include the source and if possible a short comment on the cookbook. I will seek the authors permission to post and include the review on the cookbook page.
