This makes about 5 lbs of Gluten Free Flour Mix. I have found this to work well in replacing flour in traditional recipes. Use 1 teaspoon of Xanthan Gum per Cup of flour. Natural Grocers sells packaged bulk flours and xanthan gum.
Cornflakes can be used to make an excellent gluten free breading. Here you process corn flakes and spices in a food processor to create a crumb breading
This cornflake breading has a spicy Cajun flavor. Again it is easy to make in a food processor. However if you do not own a food processor, just put the cornflakes in a ziplock bag and you can crush them with a rolling pin or a tack hammer.
This works to make things like chocolate covered pretzels and bananas.

If you grow hot peppers it is easy to make your own dried hot pepper flakes and hot pepper infused oil to use to spice up your cooking or to give as gifts.
This is the wheat and dairy free pie crust I use for the lemon meringue pie. The sugar in the recipe makes it easier to roll out and it holds together well. I'm not sure where I found this one I went through all my cookbooks but could not find a match.

My Mom shared this recipe with me. Most tomato sauce is gluten and dairy free, but my Dad needs low/no sodium tomato sauce and this is a delicious low salt tomato sauce since it only has the natural salt present in the tomatoes.
