These wheat and dairy free rolls are fast to make for a yeast bread only taking 40 minutes including rising and cooking time. They are my favorite gluten casein free dinner rolls as they taste and have the same texture and feel as the ones I grew up with.
I like to bring this wheat and dairy free fruit salad to family dinners and potlucks. Gluten and dairy free ambrosia uses Rich's whip (available only at Williamsburg HyVee). The Rich's whip comes in large containers because they have to order it through thier cafe, it is in the frozen food section by the cool whip.
My kids think this cranberry side is essential for Thanksgiving. You really can't make it without a food processor. It actually is the reason I own a food processor and I should have bought one years ago I can't believe how useful they are.
This is my Sister-In-Laws recipe. I wasn't so sure about using wax in food, but I had been eating them for years and love them. I tried to make a coating that worked for them without wax which is how I created the pretzel recipe, but the peanut butter balls work so much better with the wax I finally gave in and used it.
We have always had an egg strata for breakfast Christmas morning. I switched potatoes for the bread which everyone likes better. To keep everyone happy and to save money I make a dairy free small pan and a larger pan that uses normal milk and has cheese.
This is a great way to fix mashed potatoes for a family gathering. You fix them the night before and just heat them in the crockpot a few hours before you need to serve them
This is a great way to fix sweet potatoes you cook them in the crock pot with pecans and brown sugar.
Deviled eggs are a simple naturally wheat and dairy free holiday side
This a nice Jello fruit salad one of my Aunts submitted to a family cookbook. It uses a nice mix of fruits.
I had to find a way to make wheat and dairy free Hot Cross Buns for Holy Week. These are a fruity and spicy muffin. I actually like them better than the traditional version I used to make.
We have always made soft pretzels at some point in Lent, so I really wanted to find a gluten free pretzel recipe. This one is a combination of the ones I could find on-line. It takes an hour and a half from start to finish and makes a fun weekend activity.
